By using this website, requesting a quote, or hiring Art of Radon (“we,” “us,” “our”) for services, you (“you,” “the customer,” “the client”) agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
Art of Radon provides radon testing, radon mitigation system design and installation, system repair and replacement, and post-mitigation verification testing for residential and applicable commercial properties.
The scope, pricing, and timeline of any service will be detailed in a separate written estimate or service agreement provided to you before work begins. These Terms apply in addition to any such agreement. In the event of a conflict, the signed service agreement governs.
All quotes and estimates are provided free of charge and are valid for the period stated on the document (or 30 days if no period is stated). Quotes are based on the information available at the time, including foundation type, home size, and accessibility.
Final pricing may be adjusted if site conditions differ from those described, if unforeseen complications arise, or if you request additional work. Any such changes will be communicated to you before proceeding.
Our goal is to reduce radon levels in your home below the EPA action level of 4.0 pCi/L. Where we provide a written results guarantee, we will make reasonable corrective adjustments to the installed system at no additional labor cost if post-mitigation testing shows levels at or above this threshold, subject to the terms of your service agreement.
You acknowledge that radon is a naturally occurring gas and that levels can fluctuate due to weather, seasonal changes, occupant behavior, structural modifications, and other factors outside our control. No company can guarantee a permanent fixed radon level indefinitely, and our guarantee applies to system performance under normal conditions.

Failure to meet these responsibilities may affect system performance, pricing, scheduling, or the validity of any guarantee.
We make every effort to honor scheduled appointments. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we ask for reasonable advance notice. We reserve the right to reschedule due to weather, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control.
Any deposit, cancellation, or rescheduling fees will be outlined in your service agreement.
Payment is due as specified in your service agreement or invoice. We accept the payment methods listed at the time of service. Late or unpaid balances may be subject to fees or collection action as permitted by Wisconsin law.
Ownership of installed equipment may remain with Art of Radon until payment is received in full, as stated in your agreement.
Workmanship and equipment warranties, where offered, will be specified in your service agreement. Manufacturer warranties on components such as radon fans are governed by the manufacturer’s terms.
Except as expressly stated, services are provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. Warranties may be voided by unauthorized modifications, neglect, misuse, or failure to maintain the system.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Art of Radon’s total liability arising from our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for those services. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to health outcomes, property value changes, or losses related to real estate transactions.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
When services are performed in connection with a home sale or purchase, you are responsible for understanding any contractual or disclosure obligations related to the transaction. We provide documentation of our work and testing results but do not provide legal, real estate, or financial advice.
Radon exposure is associated with an increased risk of lung cancer. While our mitigation systems are designed to reduce radon levels, no system eliminates all risk. The information on our website is provided for general educational purposes and does not constitute medical or professional advice. We encourage regular radon testing and consultation with qualified professionals.
